Services Offered

Individual Therapy:

 We offer psychotherapy and counselling to individual adults and adolescents to address a variety of difficulties such as: 

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Stress and burnout

  • Trauma

  • Bereavement

  • Difficulties with self-esteem and self confidence

  • Coping with life transitions (e.g. parenthood, divorce/separation)

  • Relationships and 

  • Personal growth and development

Couples/Marriage Therapy:

Using various methods, we offer couple's and marriage counselling. we aim  to help clients develop a new understanding of the self, their partner and of the relationship in order to repair and enhance the relationship.

We work with couples for a variety of difficulties:

  • Pre-marital counselling 

  • Infidelity and betrayal

  • Trauma and Abuse

  • Communication

  • Relationship enhancement

  • Marriage Counselling


 

Group therapy:

Group Therapy sessions provide clients with a platform to learn and share from other individuals facing the same or similar issues. The aim is to help clients support each other in their journey of healing and self-discovery.

We run closed groups for the following:

  • Couples focus groups

  • Study skills for high school learners

  • Life skills 

 

Career Counselling and assessment:

We provide career counselling and assessment to both adults and high school learners with regards to:

  • School subject choice for grade 9 learners

  • Further education and training for grade 12 learners

  • Change of career and suitability for adults

The career assessments assess one's ability to make a career decision, one's personality style, their values and motivation with regards to work as well as one's level of interests in the different fields of occupations. 

Scholastic Assessments:

We provide scholastic assessments for high school learners (teenagers) for various reasons such as:

  • understanding poor academic performance

  • Diagnosing learning disorders and

  • Applying for exam and testing time concessions.

The assessment includes an intake interview with both parents or guardian, about six tests administered in one morning over a 4 hour period and a feedback session that includes a report.

Services are offered in-person and digitally, via Zoom, depending on client's preference.
